Has anyone ever dealt with a man that is a BD, but has no children? Let me explain. A friend of mine is dealing with a CBM. He started dealing with her when her children, from a previous relationship, were very young. The children grew found of the guy and looked to him as a parental figure.
One day, the CBM and the guy (which is currently dating my friend,) broke up. He moved on (with my friend,) but now the CBM calls him and harasses him repeatedly about paying for this and that for the children. He did not adopt them, he was just mom's bf. Now my friend is being harassed by a CBM who is a fake one (to my friend's guy) that needs to hold the REAL BD responsible for her children.
This is just some unnecessary BMD. He tells my friend all the time that he never intended on becoming a father to the children while he was in that relationship, but what could he do? He didn't want to isolate the children so he just did what any man that dates a woman with children SHOULD do and that's accept them all.
She calls him and says the children want to speak with him. She knows that his heart would melt and he would give in to meeting with the children (in the park, Six Flags, Chuck E. Cheese.) This is taking a toll on my friend because she's NOT his BM! It's crazy to me how some of these BM want to pick and choose who they want their BD to be.
He did not lead her to believe that he wanted to be a family with this woman and reminded her constantly that she should seek some financial support from the BioDad. She said "no" she could do it on her own. But now she is bothering this guy and my friend about financially supporting her children. Is that some crazy BMD or what??

I can understand he and the children spending a few hours out of the month together. It's hard to let go when you have been a part of the children life for so long, but ultimately they both need to move on or get back together because they don't have anything tying them together.
