Some fathers often try to keep the peace with bm and will therefore be willing to jump off a cliff if given the prompt.. lol...in hopes of avoiding the drama and not realizing that all he is doing is fueling the fire for her to think that he is still interested...Unfortunately these guys are clueless/naive when it comes to bm's evil ways...Can anyone offer any tips for these guys to avoid any future miscrupulations...with bm and pave the way for a better more stable future...

The best thing the BD can do is speak with the BM when it pertains to the child only. Anything else would be adding fuel to the fire and will eventually come back to haunt you.

Treat it like a business relationship. The best advice that I received was, treat the BM like you would a child care provider. You only speak with the BM as it pertains to the child.

TOTALLY treat it like a business relationship. GET A LAWYER. Just like you would for ANY major life-changing business. You are making an investment - just not necessarily a financial one.
