My name is Deborrah Cooper. I am the resident advice columnist of AskHeartBeat.Com Black Love & Interracial Relationships advice at www.askheartbeat.com, an author, radio host and Generation Y researcher. I'm asking for your help in getting the world out about my latest research project - issues surrounding teen pregnancy and "baby mama/baby daddy" parenting. I'm particularly interested in hearing from young men and women that became parents in their teens, those contemplating getting pregnant, as well as those PARENTS OF TEENS who became pregnant and chose to carry on with the pregnancy. Example questions include: (1) What would you want a potential or actual "baby's momma" or "baby's daddy" to know about pregnancy or raising a child that they seem to be clueless about? (2) If you are or were a teen parent and had to do it all over again, would you make the same choice? Why or why not? There are a total of 10 questions on the survey, which can be quickly and easily completed online and emailed to my attention, OR printed and faxed. Please share your thoughts and experiences on choosing to have a child and the experience of child raising as a young person; we'd love to hear from you. Your assistance in forwarding this message to all the teen parents and the parents of teen moms and dads would be greatly appreciated. Survey responses are requested by August 30, 2008.
