Some would say theres a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone...I would just like to hear more opionions on this..As there are some bm/bd situations where love still plays a role..which makes it hard for others like myself to distinguish which love it really is..especially in SO's situation. As for me and my bd, I got love for him but Its not that "when we were together" kinda love. Would this be described as the love you but not in love with you Cliche?

Yup. There are many different kinds of love, so it makes perfect sense. I love my mom, I love my friends. I love my fiance, but not in the same way at all! Romantic love vs. Friendship love vs. Parental love. I have ex's that I have love for, meaning I had romantic feelings for them, the romance stopped, but they are still the same people and they still have qualities that I admire. The thought of being with them romantically again makes my stomach turn, but they are still great people.
