So, as you may know...DH doesn’t give BM the attention she wants, she has even said so. Not in those words but she has questioned why he wont talk to her. When he calls for the kids, she always has to try and fit a convo in with him herself as well, but he cuts it short and she gets mad. Well apparently she was feeling needy last night and texts DH this long text message saying she is making a living will and if she dies, will he want the girls blah blah blah. LOL....DH was like WTF is wrong with her. I mean really? Why would she need a will, she HAS NOTHING and she is 26 not 56. Maybe I am looking too far into it but I know her and I know she just wanted SOMETHING to talk to him about. Then she is like well I am going to school for such & such and I need to make a will according to my class and I just want to know...blah blah blah, trying to make is so much more then necessary. LOL

It wouldnt be as random and rediculous if 1. she didnt have a criminal record consisting of Burglary, Criminal Mischief, harrasment, public intox, fight in public, assault and trying to go to school of Criminal Justice-Not seeing how that is gonna do her any good when it comes to getting an actual job-RIGHT?! Can that even be done? 2. She is NOT the follow by the book kind of a person to think about writing a will, she is a drunken, vulgar, bi-polar mess. A will is the last thing I would EVER imagine her bringing up for REAL reasoning.

No, I agree its very petty and as women, we can see right through it. The trick is learning how to give it the ole eyeroll and keep it movin without making too much of a big deal out of it everytime she does it. Thats the hard part

She was basically trying to see if he cared enough to want to converse. One day they'll use the kids, next week their dying. Whatever gets them the attention they need. Consider it like fishing...certain bait will catch you some fish, if any.

Theone~ I think your DH is doing a great job handling BM fromm your comments. I probably wouldn’t have found this site if SO acted accordingly. Your DH can’t control BM’s behavior. He could tell her 100X not to do something but it will not help if she ignores him. It is so obvious that some BMs will use any “in” to have a bit of attention from BD. Just continue to tell the stories here because I like to laugh. Remember …..BM doesn’t have to respect you but your DH does! If he is doing his job, the rest doesn’t really matter.
