Hello,

I am new to this site and thought I would give it a try since I am really confused about my situation. I just started dating a guy and we are getting serious... Only problem is BM. One minute she's nice to him next minute she doesn't want him to see the kids. Then he tells me that she still wants him and he doesn't want him anymore. The best part is he can't tell her about me because he doesn't want to be put on child support and she may not let him see the kids... Mmmm does that make sense. I don't know if I'm overreacting or what. How long do we have to be together before he decides enough is enough and let her know he has moved on???

Way too soon for any of this to even be your concern IMO. The only thing you should be worried about is getting to know him. His kids shouldnt even be in the equation at this point.

Yes I think you are overreacting just a bit, my honest opinion. You may date him a few more months and discover you dont want him anyway. So dont waste the energy on worrying about the BM yet. Just enjoy the dating process and getting to know him
