So I have just recently accepted a proposal from my fiance of 2 years. He does have a child from a woman he dated in the past. According to him, they were not in a serious relationship but ended up conceiving a child together. I have never been in a position to be a step mother or play any role in a mans life before who has a child. I just want to understand the proper role I should take because at this point this woman has come from all angles, she has been dirty and she has also tried to befriend me. Any advice on how I handle such a situation? I have been told to keep my distance and not communicate with her, but when she directly calls and wants to talk to me or be friendly with me, I dont know how to properly react.
