Alot of times when bm feels the need to poke at bd it includes the motions of back and forth verbal attacks, hanging up, calling back. Both trying to get their points across which ends up being a pointless battle because they still dont see eye to eye. Would this be that there are still feelings/emotions floating between the two or is it simply a battle of who gets the last word? Which of these best fits the description in your opinion or could it be both?

Oh wait, I dont mean to sound biased. Bd's find reasons to poke a bm as well... ;D

BM pushes my buttons, there are no feelings between us but I tried the "playing nice" sh*t but that aint worked. since i took yall advice and stayed away she been tripping real hard. now i see where im gone need to be on this board more.

It can be both but it depends on the bm and bd involved. Some can't stand one another and each wants to have the last word. Some BMs just want any attention from BD even if it is negative.

My DH & his BM used to go thru the hanging up thing. My DH is not into arguing, so he didn't. He just hung up the phone. BM, I believe, just like to get some attention from my DH (good, bad, or ugly).

Some BM/DH feel that if they can piss you off then they still have a hold on you emotional..Yes, ngood she is going to trip real hard when you stop going back-n-forth with her because you are deviating away from the norm and she's trying to figure out what's going on. It is very likely that it will get worse, but hang in there and don't give her the satisfaction. Some BM/BDs go back-n-forth because that has been their crazy pattern for so long that it happens like clock work and really feelings have nothing to do with it and in other situations people have received negative "love" in their lives so if someone isn't yelling at/with them it doesn't feel right...sad but true.
