Ladies, I finally did it.........at first I was going to send the thank you card but school this semester is so frustrating not mention with a 2 year old running around...........Dammit I just need a break. My family members who were doing the babysitting for me he is wearing them down.......(ie my 86 year old grandma) so I have no choice but to let BD and fam get him sometimes as a break for us all. Especially ME!! So I sent BD a text and said that he under supervision could get him on a Saturday. I was going to do the in home visits...........but ladies........I just don't have the time.......school is kickin I disagree this last semester. Not to mention I've started working out at Curves. It seems like it's just a stress festival at my house. I feel like I'm using sex as muscle relaxer right now. So I need some relaxation time and I'm just going to have to use BD to get it. He's paying so......why not. But I'm not going to let them get him any more than 2 Saturdays a month.........I'm setting the rules, he must pick him up and drop him off. No extra visits unless I have to study for a test. Even though it's progress I still feel like a negative vibe..........I expect them to be hating on me........but I just hope I'm making the right decision. Hopefully my son will warm up to them if not...............then it'll be back to supervised visits. Please.........anybody advice suggestions. Anybody dealt with this before.........how do you know if your kid is adjusting???

Luckily, kids are the most resiliant creatures on the planet. They learn to adjust to situations, and they do so quite easily. It's the ADULTS who have issues adjusting to new things, lol. I think that after a while of consistant visits, your son will be fine. He'll be with his dad and their bond will soon grow. Good job on letting them take your son! One thing, the part where you say no extra visits unless you need to study, well, they may take that wrong. It comes off as you can't take him more unless it benefits ME. Otherwise, congrats!!

Youknow~ You’re taking a step in the right direction so I’m going to leave it at that. Good for you. Piece of advice: keep that animosity in check around Jaylin or he will pick up on it. Release it at Curves. LOL
