I can count on one had the number of conversations I've had with BM in my case. I can't cut her loose because she is the BM, but I try to minimize the amount of drama she sends my way as much as possible.
I don't want her problems, but DH and I sometimes have to go to bat for my SDs sake. In this instance though majority of Krissy's problems can be avoided altogether.

Exactly. That was my point. And the thing is, since I did marry a man who can handle himself with the woman he procreated with, as a wife, there is not a whole lot for me to do. Nothing except love my skids and be there for them without any communication on my end with BM. From where I sit, I have the best of both worlds. ;D

As far as jaylady999, you messed up when you called my husband a coward......He chooses to involve me. He doesn't dump ANYONE on me. To go that far......REALLY? You, to me, are the kind of BM that never let go and will always think you have some kind of power over you BD. Recondite??? I can appreciate anyone who, on this site, can word opinions so tactfully. I was actually able to take something from a lot of what you broke down because of HOW you broke it down. Thanks, ma'am! There are some instrumental people here.  |

Power is one thing I don't need, not over BD when it comes to him doing his part in raising his son, or the BM of my DHs. I am the most handsoff BM and SM you will ever run across. As well as one with the LEAST amount of drama in my life. And that is not a coincidence. But that was funny though ;D
