I can only speak from my perspective but I would rather have BM & DH getting along than seeing him going through the pain that he feels from not being able to see his daughter.
DH can have a good relationship with his child's mom and it be only about the child...BM #1 & DH's relationship is a great example of that.
BMD is stressful and so unnecessary. I think that only a person who likes mess would revel in BMD.
